Rebuilt 2014 LS3 Chevy Camaro Engine
Our technicians at Street to Sand Offroad & Performance took on the challenge of rebuilding the LS3 engine from a 2014 Chevy Camaro. Starting with a thorough inspection, we disassembled the engine and carefully inspected each component. After sourcing high-quality replacement parts, we meticulously rebuilt the engine, from the new camshaft up, ensuring every detail was attended to. Further enhancing the power and responsiveness of the Hummer H3 using Camaro’s powertrain. The result is a finely tuned LS3 engine that delivers an enhanced driving experience.
Rebuilt Transfer Case and Transmission
We carefully inspected the transfer case and transmission of this H3 Hummer which showed significant signs of wear. We knew it was time to take action. We had the guys over at Valley Transmission & Automotive in Reno, rebuilt them to like-new condition. With their years of experience and state-of-the-art facilities, the team at Valley Transmission & Automotive was able to meticulously disassemble, inspect, and rebuild the transfer case and transmission, ensuring that they would continue to provide reliable and efficient performance for many miles to come.
Rebuilt Front & Rear Differentials with New 3.42 Gears
Rebuilding both the front and rear differentials of this Hummer H3 was crucial to ensuring a quality ride. The differential components play a vital role in transferring power from the engine to the wheels, allowing for smooth and efficient operation. By rebuilding these critical systems, we were able to restore the vehicle’s handling, traction, and overall driving performance.
The 3.42 gear ratio was selected for the rebuilt front and rear differentials to optimize the vehicle’s performance and drivability. This gear ratio provides the ideal balance between acceleration, top speed, and fuel efficiency, ensuring a responsive and well-balanced driving experience.
New Suspension
We completely rebuilt the front suspension from the ground up, replacing every component to ensure optimal performance and handling. This included installing new Fox Shocks for the front, which provide superior damping and responsiveness. Additionally, we replaced the rear shocks with high-quality Bilstein units, further enhancing the H3’s overall ride quality and stability. This suspension overhaul has transformed the driving experience, delivering a smoother, more controlled, and more confident ride in all conditions.
New Breaks, Rotars and Calipers
Replacing the brakes, rotors, and calipers was necessary to ensure optimal stopping power and safety for this H3. The worn components were no longer providing the level of braking performance required for reliable, controlled stops. By installing new, high-quality parts, we have restored this H3 braking system to peak operating condition.
Icon Rock Clear Paint
Our friends over at Raw Detailing in Sparks did an Icon Rock clear coat on this Hummer H3 to put a protective cover that brought out the shine of the original paint. We also added a Rhino lining protective cover over the bottom rocker panels to protect from rocks and debris thrown up from the tires.
